CEO: Since 2018
Tammy Brown
In a career spanning three decades, Check-Out’s CEO was worked to develop brands and products on four continents. She has worked with companies such as Intrawest and Expedia and more recently, QHR Technologies, assisting to develop them to create new initiatives and strategies. After the sudden loss of her mother 7 years ago and the chaos that followed, she was determined to create a better way. After two years of extensive research, design and development, Check-Out was born. She has previously served as a Creative Director, Director of Marketing and Manager of US Franchising, and is well-prepared for this leadership role. After-hours will find Tammy enjoying her vintage vinyl collection, skiing, playing darts and socializing with good friends.

Joel Stevens
Joel is tasked with ensuring the Check-Out Platform runs fast, smooth and securely. (Who better than the guy to built it?) Prior to joining the Check-Out project, Joel was busy honing his development skills and building an impressive web presence for a variety of companies. While a steep learning curve was necessary to create a platform like Check-Out, he looks forward to continuing the aggressive development of the platform to create a truly unique and positive experience for our users. In his spare time, Joel can be found snowboarding, cheering on his fav hockey teams and building mind-blowing playlists.

TIM MEINTS
Among the early pioneers of the satellite industry, Tim foresaw the rapid growth of the communications industry and the impact it would soon have on our daily lives. His wide range of careers and experience has seen him manage large warehousing facilities, to the being general manager of a large microwave communications company. He has worked in Europe, the US and Canada. Tim keeps the day-to-day operations of Check-Out running smoothly. When he’s not busy making all things right with the world, Tim enjoys sailing, flying and dressage.
